조립식 종이 면도기, Kai Group, 2021

 

일본 칼 제조업체 Kai Group이 일반 일회용 면도기에 비해 플라스틱 소비량을 98% 줄이는 신형 면도기를 출시했다. 이름에서 알 수 있듯이, 종이 면도기는 금속 날을 제외하고 모든 부분이 종이로 만들어졌다. 그것은 전통적인 일회용 면도기로 접기 위한 명확한 지시선과 함께 납작한 상태로 포장된다.

이 프로젝트는 날개에서 분리하여 손잡이를 감는 재사용 가능한 접착제나 날개 옆에 표시된 표시와 같은 흥미로운 디자인 디테일로 가득합니다. 이 종이 면도기는 작고 가벼우며(4g에 불과해 여행자에게 완벽한 재료) 40°C까지 미온수를 견딜 수 있습니다. 카이 그룹은 2021년 4월 1일부터 일본에서 종이 면도기를 판매할 예정입니다. 5가지 색상으로 된 면도기 5팩의 가격은 약 10,30달러입니다.

 

Kai Group, a Japanese knife manufacturer, is launching a new razor that reduces plastic consumption by 98% compared to regular disposable razors. As the name suggests, the Paper Razor is made entirely of paper, except for the metal blades. It comes in flat packaging, with clear instructions to fold it like origami into a traditional disposable razor.

The project is a trove of little exciting design details, like the adhesive peel that can be removed from the blades and reused to wrap the handle to make it sturdier or the notched channel next to the blades that makes it easier to rinse the hair off the blades. The Paper razor is small, lightweight (only 4 grams, making it perfect for travellers) and can withstand lukewarm water up to 40°C, thanks to the material it’s made of. Kai Group will sell the Paper Razor in Japan from April 1st 2021. A pack of 5 razors in 5 different colour options will cost around 10,30$.  - domus
